Tjeerd Zwinkels
I am a visual artist and I'm born and raised in Uden, the Netherlands in 1979. After my study at St. Lucas in Boxtel I turned my back on visual arts for a while and in 2002 I started my own company in sound engineering and (tour)management for national and international touring acts. After a couple of years working in the music buissiness I decided to combine my two passions.
Besides combining the two work fields I also integrate music in my art and vice versa. Besides visual art and music I have a passion for literature and philosophy. To support my art I wrote an essay wich explanes the influence of literature, science and philosophy on my work and how famous artists, writers and philosophers influence each other's work.(Essay is in Dutch)
Sterren op het doek
In november 2020 heb ik deelgenomen aan het televisieprogramma 'sterren op het doek' waarbij mijn werk was uitgekozen door Gerard Cox.
